Candidates are eligible to apply to register for the qualifi cation of Bachelor of Housing Development Honours if they have been previously awarded an undergraduate qualifi cation at NQF level 7 in Housing; Human Settlements or a cognate NQF level 7 qualifi cation with majors such as Geography, Development Studies, Community Development, Architecture, Town and Regional Planning, Law and Environmental Studies. Undergraduate Programmes
STRUCTURE
At the 1st-year level students are introduced to theoretical, conceptual, and technical aspects of housing. The programme recommends selected electives for students to supplement their foundation in their Bachelor’s Degree of Social Science in Housing in the fields of Community Development and Economics.
At 2nd year level which is building up from the first year, students take on intermediary dimensions of the housing studies.
