  • Broad Knowledge Base & Contextual Understanding: Understanding of a wide scope of public policy theory, including areas of public administration, governance, monitoring & evaluation, social justice, and local economic development. Comprehension of the social, economic, and political contexts in which policies are developed and implemented.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to translate complex policy theory into accessible language for various audiences, including students, practitioners, and other professionals.
  • Practical Application: Execution of field-visits to institutions in order to connect theoretical knowledge to real-world policy challenges, enabling students to understand how policies are formulated, enacted, and managed in practice.
  • Interdisciplinary Approach: Understanding and relevant integration of concepts and perspectives from different disciplines, such as political science, public administration and sociology, and integrate these perspectives.
